Manage your heartburn and acid reflux with natural remedies

Do you usually experience heartburn or acid reflux? Your usual tendency is to go to the drugstore or look inside your medicine cabinet for an antacid. If you want a safer antacid, you might want to try this natural concoction for the prevention of acid reflux so you don’t go reaching towards your medicine cabinet each time to neutralize the acid in your stomach. 1. Mix together peppermint, aniseed and lavender. Use equal amounts of these three ingredients for the tea infusion.

2. Boil 2 ½ cup of distilled water and pour it over the blend.

4. Remove the herbal mixture and place the tea blend in a thermos.

Another option for acid reflux is chicory root. Boil this bitter herb in 1 ½ cup of water for 5-10 minutes. Let it cool down to room temperature before drinking the blend. It helps relieve the discomfort of heartburn.
